I am a hands-on operations professional who transforms problems into actions, and actions into solutions that are easy to execute. With over a decade of successful experience in operations, staff management and development, and creative problem-solving, I know how to execute the behind-the-scenes work that enables the smooth operation of facilities, events, and technology systems. My areas of expertise include program and curriculum development, opening new locations (both in the United States and abroad), social media marketing, and creating and documenting operational procedures.

I know how to engage a diverse group of staff by creating trust-based relationships and a transparent decision-making process. I start by understanding the business, the people involved and the clients being served to ensure that everyone is on the same page about the company’s mission and ethos. By collaborating with staff at all levels to generate new ideas, I manage the resources and the projects needed to achieve the desired outcomes.


·       Managed the daily operations of Apple Seeds, which includes 3 Manhattan-based and 2 international full-service facilities and 5 private residential playrooms with a multi-million dollar revenue stream, including membership and class sales, customer service, staffing, and facility maintenance. Organized the opening of 2 of those locations, focusing on charter membership and class sales, marketing, resource organization, development of front desk systems, and facility staffing. 

·       Directly supervised 10 departmental managers who oversaw 100+ part-time staff including front desk associates, teachers, event staff, and facility attendants. Maintained an open door policy with all employees, creating a transparent, collaborative work environment that resulted in creative problem solving and generation of new ideas. Trained and liaised with General Managers of our 2 international locations.

·       Created franchise training materials, including the Operations Manual and six departmental manuals. Compiled the curriculum for 11 proprietary classes. Manuals used to train staff and implement operational procedures at our three domestic and two international locations.

·     Currently managing social media for Incarnation Camp, the oldest co-ed camp in the U.S. Creating fun, thoughtful, and camp-themed posts to engage current and prospective parents, campers, camp alumni, and summer camp professionals. Coordinate and schedule daily posts and interact with followers who leave comments or send messages.
